According to China Customs Administration E-Port & China AGLOOK national sentinel surveillance data survey: In the month of January, 2018, China imported 110,846.3 tons sesame at the price of 1,171USD/T, 35,006.9 tons from Sudan at the price of 1,164 USD/T, 33,848.8 tons from Ethiopia at the price of 1,238 USD/T and 33,606.4 tons from Niger at the price of 1,108 USD/T. For sesame exports, in the month of January, 2018, China exported 3,078.1 tons of sesame in total, at the price average of 1,944 USD/T and mostly to Korea, the quantity is 2,858.0 tons. 89.4 tons was exported to Vietnam ranked the second and 64.0 tons was exported to Japan ranked the third.
