According to what we know from the port, it is still the buyer market at the port. The price is still low. The main reason is the high inventory. But the good news is that after April, there will be less sesame seeds entering into Chinese market. This is a good supporting factor to the present weak sesame market. It is estimated that the arrival quantity in April will be about 80,000 tons. And the importing quantity will be reduced continuously in May. Now the oversea price is higher and there is a huge inventory at China port, so Chinese importers are unlikely to purchase big quantities of goods.

Now there are about 210,000 tons of the inventory at China port. But the normal average monthly sesame consumption is about 60,000 tons in China. That is to say, the present inventory can be consumed for three months (to the middle of July). But during such time the domestic sesame……
