Now there are 6 sesame production areas in total to make the auction.They are Namtumbo、Tunduru、Babati、Kodoa、Songaya and Lindi.The auction in Lindi will begin on June.It is estimated that at least half of the sesame will be sold via auction this year.This will be helpful for increasing the farmers’ income and increase the farmers’ enthusiasm for planting the sesame.Accoridng to the statistics,from May 15^th,2019 to June 3rd,the total sesame auction quantity in Tanzania is 3,127.5284 tons.And the actual transaction quantity is 3,076.6584 tons with the average auction closing price 3,099 shilling/KG.
