According to what we know from Burma,the Burma sesame are grown in three seasons.And the production in the second production season is the highest (the sesame is seeded in May/June and will be harvested in August/September).The production is about 260,000---300,000 tons generally.Because the market of the black sesame is not bad this year.Most of the farmers choose to grow the black sesame in the second seeding season.It is estimated that about 28% of the farmers will grow the white sesame ,about 65% of the farmers will grow black sesame and about 7% of the farmers will grow red brown sesame.Now the Burma yellow white sesame has come into the market in a big quantity.And the quantity of the sesame,which was sent to the China market,is aslo increased gradualy.It must affect the China sesame market in a certain degree.At 24:00 on August 15^th,it occured a fierce war near Naucu Canyon of Burma.It may affect the sesame transportation from Burma to China.
